What is PM Kisan?

The government of India has launched a new Central Sector Plan this financial year to increase the income of Small marginal farmers (SMFs). Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-Kisan).

The main aim of the PM-KISAN program is to meet the financial needs of Small and Marginal Farmers in acquiring various resources to ensure adequate crop health and adequate production in line with the expected agricultural income at the end of each crop cycle.

It will also prevent SMFs from falling into the clutches of creditors to cover these costs and ensure the sustainability of agricultural activities.

Under Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi, which is paid in three installments, small farmers will receive Rs. 6,000 a year, while the middle class will benefit from an increase in the current income tax payment in Rs. 2,50,000 lakh to Rs. 5,00,000.

Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PMKSN, Prime Minister’s Farmers’ Fund) is an initiative of the Government of India that provides up to ₹6,000 a year to all farmers to support the minimum income.

All Current or Retired Civil Servants and Employees of Ministries / Offices / Central / State Government Departments and Field Units of Central or National PES and Government / Deputy Offices / Autonomous Institutions as well as Permanent Employees (except Staff) of Specific Institutions Multi-Purpose / IV Class / Category D).

The monthly pension is above Rs.10,000
People who have paid income tax in the previous taxable year.
Professionals such as engineers, accountants, doctors, lawyers, and architects are registered with professional organizations
